GVB heeft het voornemen om een aanbesteding ten behoeve van Electrische wisselstellers voor Tram te houden. Hierop vooruitlopend wenst GVB een consultatieronde uit te voeren met marktpartijen. • MVP-programma worden er jaarlijks circa 15 elektrische wisselstellers vervangen per jaar. • DO) programma worden jaarlijks circa 5 elektrische wisselsteller vervangen per jaar. Hoewel GVB haar best heeft gedaan om de omvang zo goed mogelijk in beeld te krijgen is GVB ook afhankelijk van derden en daarom kunnen aan deze hoeveelheid geen rechten worden ontleend.
