Description
EFSA aims to maintain and expand the Bird Flu Radar by further improving its user experience and functionality through the development and/or addition of certain elements and features. These developments entail validation of certain model components that have not yet been implemented in the online user interface, exploration and incorporation of additional data sources, adaptation of wild bird abundance/movement and risk assessment models, and development of entirely new elements or features. In addition, currently used input data should be updated and further improved in terms of quality and relevance. At the same time, continuous maintenance and technical support for users should be ensured, avoiding disruptions to the model and online user interface. This is accompanied by a set of communication tasks to train users and keep them up to date with the newest developments.
