Description

Der Bereich IT-Infrastruktur des ZIK betreibt zwei Rechenzentren, in denen, neben zentralen Netzwerkkomponenten, mehrere VMware-Cluster betrieben werden. Alle virtuellen Server des UKS nutzen diese Infrastruktur. Derzeit sind ca. 900 virtuelle Server für verschiedene Zwecke am UKS im Einsatz. Als Ersatz älterer Hardware und um den zukünftigen Betrieb sicherzustellen, müssen 8 neue ESX Server, in Form von vSAN ready Nodes inkl. 5 Jahre Hardwarewartung, beschafft werden.
