Description
This procurement concerns an advanced laser powder bed fusion (PBF-LB) system designed for experimental metal materials development and research. Its compact build chamber allows for experimental research on new metal alloys and manufacturing with relatively small powder quantities, minimizing material waste and costs in a research environment. The system is 'open', meaning the user has full control over material selection and process parameters without manufacturer-imposed restrictions.
