Vanwege het aflopen van de overeenkomst met de huidige leverancier wil de gemeente Den Haag middels deze Europese aanbesteding een geschikte leverancier contracteren. Het gaat hier om materialen voor evenementen die de gemeente zelf regelt zoals, recepties, diners, openingen etc.. Als de eigen voorraad niet toereikend of niet voorhanden is dienen deze materialen gehuurd te worden. Het gaat hier bijvoorbeeld om stoelen, barkrukken, kamerschermen, serviezen, glaswerk etc..
