Description
Ausgeschrieben wird eine Anlage zum reaktiven Ionenätzen mittels induktiv gekoppeltem Plasma (ICP-RIE). Die Anlage soll ein Kernstück der waferprozessierenden Infrastruktur darstellen und wird im Reinraum der Universität Paderborn aufgestellt. Die Entwicklung von waferskaligen Bauelementen stellt große Anforderungen an die Wafergröße (bis zu 8 Zoll), die Strukturgröße und die Strukturhomogenitäten. Die verwendeten optische Bauelemente basieren auf Wellenleiterstrukturen, die extrem hohe Anforderungen an die Strukturhomogenität und Seitenrauheit stellen. Es sollen Rippenwellenleiter über eine Länge von mehreren Millimetern mit einer hohen Homogenität geätzt werden.
