Description
The French Government will award 3 projects that aim at developing and building offshore wind farms in the Channel, AO4 with a maximum power up to 1,05 GW and AO8 with a maximum power up to 1,5 GW; in the Atlantic Ocean, AO7 with a maximum power up to 1,2 GW. RTE will be in charge of the development, construction and operation of the 3 grid connexions, Centre Manche 1&2 and Oléron. Centre Manche 1 grid connection will connect the full AO4 offshore wind farm capacity, and a part of AO8 offshore windfarm capacity, and Centre Manche 2 grid connection will connect up to 1,25 GW of AO8 offshore wind farm. Oléron grid connection will connect up to 1,2 GW of AO7 offshore wind farm. This notice relates to the award of the EPCIC contract for the engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning of 6 HVDC converter stations and 3 connected platforms, inclusive of all civil works and associated maintenance.
