Description
The framework agreement is for the procurement of transport for visits from foreign heads of state, government members and other assignments, including major conferences, meetings etc. in addition to general use in the ministry. Visits — be it work visits, official visits or government visits — are an important platform for creating impact on Norwegian interests. Through good planning processes, well-rounded priorities, a clear profile and overall expression as well as steady execution, the visit can be ensured the relevance and impact of the visits. The term VIP is used as a definition of heads of state, heads of government, foreign ministers, professional ministers and other leaders at a high level for the visit in question, whether it is the foreign minister, development minister or prime minister who hosts the visit. King is the official host of the visit during a state visit to Norway. VIP travels with an official delegation of 2 to 14 people depending on the rank and level of the visit.
