Description

The aim of the procurement is to ensure that employees of the Foreign Service can communicate with speech and data in situations where ordinary communication lines are completely or temporarily inaccessible. There is a need to have a framework agreement on satellite telephones and systems for data transfer, including subscription services and support connected to them. The tenderer's product portfolio shall also include additional equipment that provides functionality beyond that included the standard equipment, such as indoor coverage, vehicle coverage, solar cell chargers, extra batteries, cables, carrier bags, storage, both from the manufacturer and third-party suppliers. The Ministry has separate agreements for radio communication and backup systems for ordinary operations, so that the procurement is limited to satellite based systems without dedicated bandwidth (MIR etc.).
