Description

The Directorate of Norwegian Correctional Service (KDI) intends to enter into a framework agreement with Rohde & Schwarz AS (R&S) regarding the purchase and maintenance of safety scanners pursuant to FOA § 13-4 letter b) nos. 2 and 3. The contract period, including options for the purchase of security scanners, is 8 years. The duration of the accompanying maintenance contract is ten years per purchased security scanner. Reason: KDI has previously had a framework agreement with R&S regarding the purchase and maintenance of security scanners for the Norwegian Correctional Service ́s entities. Together with KDI, the tenderer has collaborated on customer specific functionality and software for this security scanners, making it unique for KDI as a customer. It will not be possible for other service providers to deliver equivalent products for the Norwegian Correctional Service, as the security scanner is only compatible with the specifically developed software for the Norwegian Correctional Service.
