Description
Le Centre Antoine Lacassagne est un centre de lutte contre le cancer qui offre, entre autres, des services de radiothérapie avec protons pour le traitement des pathologies tumorales. L'Institut Méditerranéen de ProtonThérapie héberge la plateforme de protonthérapie composée de deux accélérateurs proton, un cyclotron de 65 MeV (MEDICYC) et un synchro-cyclotron de 226 MeV (Proteus-One, IBA). Le Centre Antoine Lacassagne entend équiper la salle de traitement de protonthérapie oculaire de 65 MeV d'une chaise robotisée de positionnement du patient, permettant différents conditions d'accès balistiques à la cible tumorale.
