Ce marché est organisé dans le but d'établir plusieurs contrats-cadre pour la fourniture de denrées alimentaires et de produits non alimentaires pour la cantine, qui regroupe la cafétéria et les selfs, ainsi que pour le Clubhouse du Centre Commun de Recherche (JRC) sur le site d'Ispra (Varese) Italie.
