Il JRC intende appaltare i servizi correlati alla fornitura, installazione e manutenzione di sistemi di protezione fisica e altri impianti speciali a supporto di essi, come quelli di rilevazione anti-incendio e diffusione sonora. I sistemi di protezione fisica comprendono gli impianti di videosorveglianza, di allarme e controllo accesso, inclusa la gestione delle chiavi. Tutti questi sistemi devono potere essere estesi, migliorati e mantenuti, in conformità alla legislazione in vigore.
