Description

UCC hereby issues this information in accordance with the requirements of EC directive 2004/18/EEC (open procedure) to Works Contractors for Completion of Redevelopment Works/Fit-out of No.5 Grenville Place, Cork for University College, Cork. This competition is also to establish a multi supplier framework of Works Contractors for Minor Works Projects to whom specific assignments may be awarded in due course based on the terms of a Framework Agreement on a non-exclusive basis.The six Tenderers with the top score under the MEAT test will be appointed to the framework contingent on six number Tenderers achieving the minimum required standard. Subject to compliance with all relevant pre-conditions as determined by UCC, UCC may enter into a Framework Agreement with these six Tenderers. The initial contract used to establish the framework comprises the completion of the redevelopment/fit-out of the previously stabilised five storey listed building by carrying out minor demolitions and alterations, completing the ground floor slab and upper floors where required, the insertion of new framed steel support structures, the construction of a new timber staircase, the refurbishment of existin…
