Description
ESPON hereby gives preliminary notice of its intention to launch a procurement procedure for an On-Demand Study requested by the forthcoming Irish Presidency of the Council of the EU. The study RE-GREEN will examine how the green transition can support territorially balanced and socially legitimate regional development. Using Ireland as the primary case, the study will analyse renewable-energy and green-industrial opportunities, territorial capacities, governance conditions and socio-political dynamics, and will develop evidence to inform policy discussions during the Irish EU Council Presidency in 2026.
