Description
Egendefinierade datorer definieras som en en dator som specificeras i samråd med kunden, till skillnad från "märkesdatorer" där kunden kan välja mellan av leverantörens fördefinierade konfigurationer. Egendefinierade datorer beställs för att tillgodose krav gällande exempelvis prestanda, ljudnivå, format och storlek. De byggs normalt av standardkomponenter. En del datorer anskaffas för att utgöra basen i specialbyggd laborationsutrustning där det krävs ett enda exemplar av en speciell dator.
