Die Vergabe erfolgt im Verhandlungsverfahren ohne Teilnahmewettbewerb gemäß § 14 Abs. 4 Nr. 2 b) VgV. Der geschätzte Auftragswert überschreitet den EU-Schwellenwert. Das Verfahren wird daher EU-weit bekanntgemacht. Das Forschungslabor des Comprehensive Cancer Center Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (CCC MV) an der Universitätsmedizin Greifswald (UMG) möchte für das EFRE-gefördertes Projekt zukünftig Maßnahmen zur Isolation von Krebszellen aus Tumor- und Blutproben entwickeln. Für diesen Zweck ist der MACSQuant Tyto Lux Cell Sorter die einzig geeignete Wahl. Er bietet neben hoher Präzision und Flexibilität eine Reihe patentierter Alleinstellungsmerkmale, die kein anderes System auf dem Markt aktuell gleicht. Obwohl alternative Zellsortiersysteme ebenfalls unterschiedlichste Zelltypen isolieren können, liegt der MACSQuant Tyto Lux in Bezug auf Effizienz, Zellviabilität und Sterilität deutlich vorne.
