Description

The Department of Education has been successful in applying for inclusion in the Climate Action REPowerEU Pathfinder Programme 2024/2025 to develop and complete a Schools Energy Retrofit Pathfinder programme. In summary, the project comprises the appointment of Multi-Disciplinary Design Teams (MDDT) and Technical Advisory Design Teams (TA) consultancy services to 40 schools. These schools are located in counties Kildare, Meath, Offaly, Wexford and Wicklow. The MDDT competition is sub-divided into twelve (14) LOTs (2 or 3 schools per LOT). The TA competition is sub-divided into two (2) LOTS (20 schools per LOT). Each LOT represents a separate tender competition and contract. Invitations to tender are now invited from suitably qualified consultants who wish to form an integrated design team to tender. These schools are located in counties Kildare, Meath, Offaly, Wexford and Wicklow. Each LOT represents a separate tender competition and contract.
