Description
Region Västerbotten avser att upphandla en helhetslösning för molekylärdiagnostik (påvisning av DNA eller RNA i patientprover) till Laboratoriemedicin som omfattar diagnostik av följande agens: Med begreppet helhetslösning avses hela vägen från inkommande prov i primär- eller sekundärrör till överföring av molekylärbiologiska svar till aktuellt laboratoriedatasystem (Laboratory Information System, hädanefter benämnt LIS). Med begreppet automationsinstrument avses molekylärbiologisk instrumentation där extraktion från DNA/RNA från patientprover och detektion med hjälp av realtids-PCR är integrerat i samma instrumentation. Automationsinstrument ska inkluderas i helhetslösningen. Syftet med denna automation är att förbättra prov- och arbetsflödet genom en mer kontinuerlig och enhetlig process som idag sker med många manuella arbetsmoment och är uppdelat på olika arbetsställen.
