Description
The Norwegian Environment Agency intends to extend the contract period for area presentation nature monitoring for one year on otherwise equal contract terms. The contract consists of three sub-contracts 1) North Norway 2) Mid and West Norway 3) Inland and South Norway. The supplier for sub-contract 1 is Sallír Natur AS, and for sub-contracts 2 and 3 it is Stiftelsen Norsk institutt for Naturforskning NINA. The background is that the contracting authority is evaluating programmes for environmental monitoring. The ongoing evaluation will not be completed in time to announce this contract with updated content based on the evaluation. A new version of the monitoring programme is being developed and it will be inappropriate to implement the competition based on the same requirements as the current contract for a one year contract period. It will also be inappropriate to announce a contract for a longer duration than one year.
