På Chalmers och Göteborgs universitet förekommer olika typer av serviceverksamheter och forskningsmiljöer såsom posthantering, städning av lokaler/ytor, fastighetsskötsel, montering, verkstadsmiljöer med mera, där personalen är i behov av arbetskläder, arbets- och skyddsskor samt skyddsprodukter.
