Description

The Contracting Authority intends to seek tenders for the Adare Bypass (the Project) which will be procured under the NEC4 Option C form of Contract. The Design and Construction of the proposed Adare Bypass includes: -approx 10 km of motorway, which is new construction and/or widening of the existing road, from Croagh to M20 at Attyflin and; - approx 2 km of realignment of existing National, Regional and Local roads - 2 grade-separated junctions at Adare and Croagh -in excess of 200m long 3-span bridge with a central clear-span of approximately 95m over the River Maigue at Adare; -3 river bridges (over Clonshire and Greanagh); 4 No Signage Gantries; 9 overbridges/underbridges; and various accommodation underpasses, retaining walls and culverts - extensive earthworks ;various drainage works including provision of attenuation ponds and wetlands; various accommodation works, side roads and accesses; and various ancillary works - various Authority and Utility diversions including diversion of electricity, gas, eir and water apparatus; - ITS provision; and traffic management.
