Waterbedrijf Groningen NV is voornemens om een transport drinkwaterleiding aan te leggen t.b.v. de watervoorziening in de provincie Groningen. De verantwoordelijkheid voor de realisatie van het project ‘Transportleiding Onnen - Ruischerbrug’ is in handen van NV Waterbedrijf Groningen. Het project omvat de volgende leiding: Een drinkwaterleiding t.b.v. de bestendiging van de robuuste watervoerziening in het drinkwater voozieningsgebied van Waterbedrijf Groningen. De leiding zal de verbinding worden tussen pompstation in Onnen en de leiding nabij Ruischerbrug. Langs het gehele tracé wordt een mantelbuis meegelegd voor de besturing en toekomstige doeleinden. Dit project is onderverdeeld in 3 percelen, te weten: Traject 1 Traject 2 Traject 4 Het traject 3 is reeds uitgevoerd.
