Les groupes de Marèges ont été mis en service entre 1935 et 1936 et n’ont jamais fait l’objet de rénovation générale. Aujourd’hui, l’état des distributeurs impose leur réhabilitation en réalisant l’approvisionnement de tubes en bronze et de couronnes en fonte pour le remplacement des bagues de guidage des directrices et des joints d’arbres des Groupes 2 et 3 de Marèges.
