Beschreibung
This Multi-Donor Action title "Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Economic Development and Employment in Jordan (E4DE)" is jointly co-financed by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by GIZ. The Joint Action aims to strengthen the employment potential through entrepreneurship in Jordan in 4 governorates, with focus on women, refugees and policy monitoring and evaluation. Geographical areas of the Joint Action are the governorates of Jerash and Mafraq in the North and Aqaba and Karak in the South. The Specific Objectives (outcome) of the Joint Action (related to EU action document) are: 1) The business environment for private sector growth is improved; 2) Entrepreneurship capacities are strengthened, and opportunities increased; 3) Employment opportunities for Jordanian and refugee (including Syrian) job seekers are increased. The Joint Action has following three outputs: Output 1: Human resource and planning capacity of public and private ecosystem stakeholders for designing support measures for entrepreneurs is strengthened.
