Key Features and Benefits of the CosMx SMI Technology • Large Panels: Pre-designed panels with up to 6175-plex for RNA (Whole Transcriptome coming in 2025) and up to 64-plex for protein. Option to customize for both RNA and Protein Assays • High sensitivity: accurately detect low copy number genes • High resolution: subcellular resolution with < 50 nm transcript localization precision • Any analyte analysis: true spatial-omic capabilities, enabling analysis of both RNA and protein • Multiple sample type compatibility: Formalin-Fixed Paraffin- Embedded, Fresh Frozen, TMAs, and Organoids • True single cell analysis: uses multimodal methods with machine learning for accurate cell segmentation For a system to be equivalent to the CosMx Spatial Molecular Imager, it must: • Be able to quantify up to 76 proteins and up to 19,000 RNA targets • Be able to collect up to 4 slides of data in a single experimental run • Be compatible with FFPE and FF tissue sections • Provide a complete end-to-end solution; including acquisition, analysis, and visualization • Provide cloud storage and processing for data and analysis • Require no reverse transcription, amplification, or enzyme for analyte detec…
