Description
Wirral Borough Council's Community Safety Service seeks to commission a suitably qualified and experienced provider to deliver a Restorative Justice (RJ) and Mediation Service across the Borough of Wirral. The Council require a high-quality, victim-focused Restorative Justice and Mediation Service that supports the resolution of conflict, repairs harm, improves community relationships and contributes to the reduction of anti-social behaviour and community tensions. The successful provider will be expected to deliver services in accordance with current Restorative Justice Council (RJC) standards and guidance and adopt a trauma-informed, restorative and person-centred approach throughout service delivery. RJC Practice Guidance 2020 As a minimum, the successful provider must be able to: • Manage referrals from multiple referral pathways. • Deliver a safe, impartial and effective restorative justice and mediation service. • Demonstrate adherence to Restorative Justice Council Best Practice Guidance. • Deliver interventions that are tailored to the needs and circumstances of participants. • Undertake robust assessments, safeguarding procedures and risk management processes. • Facilitat…
