Description
Derbyshire Dales District Council ('the Council') has secured 'Warm Homes: Local Grant' (WH:LG) funding from the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) through the Midlands Net Zero Hub (MNZH) consortia to improve the energy efficiency of a number of privately owned domestic properties by the end of March 2028 (with the ability to extend into 2030 if further funding is approved). Following a re-opening of competition under the Nottingham City Council's, Energy Efficient Retrofit Installers, Dynamic Purchasing System (CPU 7220), Category 7 Whole House Retrofit, the Council have awarded a contract for a main contractor to carry out a programme of whole-house retrofits using a fabric first approach to install energy efficiency measures and/or low carbon heating measures (excluding fossil fuels) to improve the Standard Assessment Procedure score (SAP) of a number (target of 48 until March 2028) domestic properties located within the District.
