Description
Liverpool City Council, through Liverpool Virtual School, has awarded a contract for the provision of a clinical psychology-led education support service for children in care, previously looked-after children, and children with a social worker. The service will provide psychology-informed consultation, advice, workforce development and strategic support to schools, educational settings, social care professionals, carers and Virtual School staff across Liverpool. The contract includes: ~Trauma-informed and attachment-aware consultation for professionals and carers; ~Workforce training and development programmes; ~Reflective supervision and professional support for practitioners; ~Advice and guidance to support educational planning, inclusion and participation; ~Support for multi-agency working and partnership development; ~Strategic advice and capacity-building support for Liverpool Virtual School; ~Development of psychologically informed practice across education and children's services.
