Description
Bath Spa University is seeking expressions of interest from experienced systems integrators to support the refurbishment of its TV Studio facilities at Newton Park Campus. The project involves the design, procurement, fit-out, integration, and commissioning of a complete end-to-end solution for the University’s multicamera TV production environment. The existing facilities, installed in 2013, include two production studios, a TV studio gallery, a central apparatus room, two audio mixing studios, and nine postproduction edit suites. After twelve years of continuous use, the infrastructure is due for a technical upgrade. The current system is based on a five-camera SDI setup, and the University is seeking to transition to a SMPTE ST 2110 IP-based backbone. The new solution will include updated embedded cameras, production and acquisition equipment, and must support both teaching and commercial use. The refurbishment will integrate with existing room layouts and wiring where possible. There is no longer a requirement for delivery of equipment for March.
