Babcock Land Defence Limited (BLDL), acting as Agent for the Ministry of Defence (MOD) has awarded a Single Source Contract to Supacat Limited for the provision of The Repair of Jackal Assemblies and Associated Items for a duration of 5 Years with 2 x 1 Option Years. Please note, this Notice announces a Contract Award for the purposes of transparency only and is not a request for expressions of interest. This requirement was advertised on behalf of the Authority on the Defence Sourcing Portal (DSP) and Find-a-Tender dated 26th June 2024 reference 2024/S 000-019516 under Contract reference IRM22/7623A. In accordance with regulation 4 of the Defence and Security Public Contracts (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (SI 2019/697) this procurement falls to be regulated under the provisions of the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011 as amended (in particular by SI 2019/697 and SI2020/1450). It is considered that the award of the contract without prior publication of a contract notice in the UK e-notification service (as required by the relevant legislation) is lawful in accordance with Regulation16(1)(a)(ii) of the DSPCR 2011 for technical reasons.
