Description
On behalf of the contracting authority, the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC), the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) is issuing this Prior Information Notice (PIN) and Request for Information (RFI) for the Provision of Coach and Driver Hire Services. The purpose of this PIN/RFI is to engage with potential suppliers within the coach and driver hire industry. Background: The MPS is seeking an experienced supplier to work in partnership with the MPS to co-ordinate, manage, and deliver Coach and Driver Services to support operational policing. Policing London is the forefront of the MPS and a contract for coach and driver hire will play an integral part in supporting the safe transportation of Police officers 24/7, 365 days a year. The majority of coach and driver hire requirements are for planned officer movements which occur during major events, however, unforeseen occasions and emergency redeployments for which an ad hoc requirement of coach and driver services are needed.
