Description
Fermanagh and Omagh District Council invited tenders from suitably experienced and licensed contractors for the collection,, treatment and RDF/SRF processing of municipal waste for a period of 12 Months from award of Contracts, with options, entirely at the discretion of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, to extend the Contracts for a further period of 12 months or Part Thereof. The contract material will consist of residual waste arising from the Council kerbside refuse collection service and recycling centre residual and bulky wastes. The successful contractor will process the contract material by the removal/recovery of any recyclable material and processing of residues into RDF/SRF fuel. The contract materials will be collected at the Council's fully licensed transfer stations at Gortrush Transfer Station Omagh and Drummee Transfer Station, Enniskillen. The two waste categories are divided into three separate lots to reflect collection requirements as detailed in the Tender Documents.The treatment of this waste is to ensure that the Client meets its obligations Under Domestic and European legislation including the Landfill Allowance Scheme (Northern Ireland) Regulations 2004…
