Description
The purpose of this Prior Information Notice is to notify the market of the PEACEPLUS Programme’s intention to hold a Pre- market engagement for the PEACEPLUS Arts Across the Genres Tender. This project contributes to the implementation of the Thriving and Peaceful Communities theme under the Belfast PEACEPLUS Local Community Action Plan. To create at least five pieces of original cross community, bottom up and professional artist facilitated pieces of work, through four collaborative projects across the city, each on a North, South, East and West basis. Each project will comprise two cross community pairings linking two similar arts genres. It will include capacity building, arts facilitation and skills development for the future. The fifth project will involve the capturing the live story line to produce a short documentary at the close of the 4 projects. Overall, the projects will showcase the diversity of cultures and heritage across the City, will explore different narratives expressed through different art forms/ genres.
