Description

Via East Midlands delivers sustainable highways services across the East Midlands and operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Nottinghamshire County Council. Via East Midlands holds several existing framework agreements for highway surfacing, surface treatments, and civil engineering delivery, which are nearing completion. The scope of these contracts involves high-profile aspects of highway service delivery that are of considerable public importance and are vital to delivering for the people of Nottinghamshire. Via East Midlands plans to establish a new supplier contract for highway surfacing schemes with two suppliers, as part of a new Highway Surfacing Delivery Partnership Contract. The new contract will include three-year agreements with two possible one-year extensions, following an NEC4 Term Services arrangement. Via East Midlands is seeking to collaborate with two highway surfacing contractors that are suitable for delivering technical excellence, efficiency, and cooperative behaviours across carriageway resurfacing, reconstruction, recycling, ironwork adjustment, and related work, including road marking and road studs.
