Description
Hampshire County Council has commissioned its county-wide service for Supporting Hampshire Young Carers. HCC's Children's Services has a statutory duty to assess whether Young Carers in the county have needs for support and, if so, to assess what those needs are and meet those needs through appropriate services. The appointed Service Provider will carry out assessments, where required, and provide access to support, tailored information and advice and targeted group activities for young carers as appropriate. These activities may be provided by the Service Provider(s) or referred and signposted on to other organisations to deliver. The contract is for an initial period of 3 years, with 2 further extensions of 1 year each, to a maximum of 5 years, The contract will start on 01 December 2024.
