Description
The Highland Council will be looking to tender for a Sole Supplier for the Supply and Delivery of Power Tools and associated items. The Supplier will ensure all tools and associated items are Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVs) & Noise Level tested and serviced as well as provide training, and Portable Appliance Testing (PAT). Power tools and associated items must take into consideration HAV’s and noise levels in order to manage exposure and prevent occupational injuries such as HAV’s or hearing impairment for users. Therefore, all power tools, testing and servicing and training to be compliant with Health and Safety (H&S) requirements. It is intended that the Contract will be for 4-year period.
