Description
South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to engage with suppliers who can provide replacement engines for Fiat Ducato-based Double Crewed Ambulances (DCAs). This early market engagement aims to assess supplier capabilities and inform potential procurement options. Scope of Interest: We are interested in suppliers who can offer either: • Fully dressed replacement engines (new or reconditioned), or • Supply and fit services, including vehicle collection and redelivery. Key Information for Respondents: Vehicle registration numbers will be provided to enable accurate engine identification via standard motor factor systems. We are seeking information on the following: 1. Engine Type: • Are the engines new or reconditioned? • Please note: reconditioned engines must meet high reliability standards due to known rebuild challenges. 2. Warranty Terms: • Minimum expectations: 50,000 miles and 1–2 years. • Please specify any servicing requirements to maintain warranty (e.g. oil and filter changes at 1,500, 5,000, and every 10,000 miles thereafter). 3.
