Description

Purpose of Job 1.1. Bridgwater Town Council requires the provision of security guard/s during the Bridgwater Fair which takes place during the last week of September each year. To provide high profile security at Bridgwater Fair. This will include 4 x Security West Street 23.00 - 06.00 Tuesday 29th September , Wednesday 30th, Thursday 1st, Friday 2nd. Patrol West Street market to provide protection for market stalls. 2 x Security Albert Street 11.00 - 20.00 Wednesday 30th September. To man road barrier encouraging residents only parking. 2 x Security Albert Street 13.00 - 20.00 Thursday 25th, Friday 26th Saturday 27th September. To man road barrier encouraging residents only parking. 4 x Security Fair field horse market Wednesday 24th September 08.00 - 16.00. Two staff manning gate to control entry and exit, two patrolling the market. Term 1.2. The term of the contract is for a period of 3 years with the option to extend year on year for up to 2 further years. Dates provided are for event 2026. 2. Duties 2.1.
