Description

This project builds on the initial phase within which play equipment for under-12s was installed. The project focuses on the installation of: toddler equipment, suitable for children aged 2-5 years; age-appropriate teen equipment which promotes socialisation and exercise in a safe and comfortable environment; a dedicated area with outdoor gym equipment to encourage adult exercise and recreation; and the installation of two sets of goal posts with nets to enable sports teams and individuals to practise and play football. This will require the installation of new and accessible equipment, including appropriate surfacing where required. A continued focus on inclusivity and sustainability are key objectives. The toddler equipment is to complete the under-twelves play area recently installed, and must fit within the footprint of the fenced play area of the park. This can be a multi-play system or a combination of smaller playground units. Play equipment must conform to BS EN 1176 and BS EN 1177 or other relevant standard.
