Description
Scope: Appointment of Senior Commercial Manager services for Rail The appointed consultant will be assigned the following responsibilities, deliverables and accountabilities: 1) Leads the commercial function of the delivery team. 2) Acts with integrity and engenders trusting and open relationships within the WMRP and wider WMCA including stakeholder's and supply chain partners. 3) Provides recommendations and delivers improvements of procedures and systems within the delivery team. Responsibilities: 1) Lead the delivery commercial team in undertaking contract administration, processing supplier payments and their authorisation, valuations, final accounts, change management, risk management and cash management. 2) Establish workload targets and deadlines for the Project Commercial Manager's, and monitor delivery against these. 3) Prepare and present commercial reports at internal reviews and board meetings (as required) for programme governance. 4) Provide advice on commercial matters, identification and management of commercial risk and management of commercial resources. 5) Provide advice on contractual matters and support the project and senior leadership…
