Description
The BBC is conducting a Tender for the provision of Security Guarding Services .The Tendered Requirement is divided into two (2) separate Lots. Lot 1 – Core Security Guarding Services includes; Security guarding (>350 personnel across 32 sites); Provision of two security control rooms for alarm, CCTV and incident monitoring; Control Room manning, alarm and CCTV monitoring; Mobile patrols; Car Park monitoring and control; Close Protection services; First aid support; Emergency and evacuation duties; Investigation and verification of alarms including fire. Lot 2 – Mobile Keyholding Services including; Alarm Response; Patrols. The BBC intends to award one (1) Contract for each Lot. If the same Tenderer is awarded with the Contract for both Lots, the BBC reserves the right to combine the Contract into a single agreement. The Contract for each Lot will have an Initial Term of five (5) years which will begin from the Service Commencement Date. There will be an optional extension period of up to (3) years. If the BBC utilises the full extension, from Service Commencement to extension period expiry, the Contract for each Lot would last a maximum period of eight (8) years. The Initial Term …
