Description
As part of the Council's wider review and recommissioning of Community and Homecare services, we are seeking to engage with current and prospective providers to better understand the market, explore innovative approaches to service delivery, and inform the future development of commissioned services for children and young people with care and support needs. This engagement event will provide an opportunity to discuss the unique requirements associated with delivering Homecare services to children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including those with complex health needs, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, autism, sensory impairments and other additional support needs. The Council recognises that supporting children and young people to remain safe, healthy and independent within their family and community networks requires a specialist and highly skilled workforce, alongside strong partnership working with families and professionals.
