Real-Time Location System (RTLS) Preliminary Market Engagement Notice Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (LTHT) intends to undertake a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) exercise in relation to a potential requirement for a Real-Time Location System (RTLS). Purpose of the Market Engagement The purpose of this Preliminary Market Engagement is to: • provide interested suppliers with an overview of the Trust's high-level requirements; • understand the solutions, technologies and capabilities currently available in the market; • obtain supplier feedback and market insight to help inform the Trust's requirements; and • support the Trust in considering its potential future procurement strategy and approach. The Trust is interested in engaging with suppliers that provide Real-Time Location System (RTLS) solutions, sometimes referred to as Real-Time Tracking Systems. RTLS technology can be used to automatically identify and track the location of assets, equipment, inventory and, where appropriate, people in real time.
