Description
Background Hinckley Rugby Football Club wishes to select and appoint a suitable Contractor for the design, supply and installation of a PV Solar Panel System to the specifications below and invites suppliers to submit a tender to meet our requirements. The tender responses will be used to support of grant funding application which would enable us to fund the installation, with project funding for successful applicants becoming available April/May 2024. The expectation is that the work will take place in September - October 2024. Specification Scope: • Survey and System design • Installation of system including interfaces to electricity supply, scaffolding, skips. • Removal of waste from installation • Certification of installations to building regulations (structural report confirming capability of roof load already obtained) Installation: • Pitches Clubhouse South Facing Roof, height to eaves is approx 3m • Location: Leicester Road, Hinckley, LE10 3DR https://what3words.com/final.gosh.connected • Roof has standard tiles and pitch approximately 30deg from horizontal • Area beneath roof accessible f…
