***** THIS IS AN AWARD NOTICE, NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION ***** This procurement is being concluded following a mini competition under the Crown Commercial Service RM6126 Research & Insights DPS Brief Description of Requirement Satellites in orbit are currently single-shot objects; they are not maintained, refuelled or upgraded, merely replaced. Space and the microgravity environment offers possibilities to manufacture materials and compounds which are either very difficult or, in some cases, impossible to do on Earth. The technology to conduct both these activities is now being developed at pace and In-Orbit Servicing & Manufacturing (IOSM) is an emerging domain within the space sector.
