Description
The core service is the provision of the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism, a statutory requirement under the Health and Social Care Act 2022. This legislation mandates that all CQC-registered health and social care providers ensure their staff receive training on learning disability and autism that is appropriate to their role. The training is intended to equip staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide safe, compassionate, and informed care to people with a learning disability and autistic people, addressing existing health inequalities. The provider will be responsible for delivering both Tier 1 and Tier 2 of the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training to staff within NHS Trusts and Primary Care Networks (PCNs) located in the South West London (SWL) Integrated Care Board (ICB) catchment area.
