Description
The Authority is seeking expressions of interest from organisations in the waste management sector who may be interested in providing mixed inert waste recycling solutions. The Authority will likely be publishing two tenders as detailed below. For both tenders, the mixed inert waste shall be made available to the provider under the List of Wastes code 17 09 04. • Provision of Mixed Inert Waste Collection, Acceptance and Recycling Services from Preston Transfer Station, Wallend Road, Preston Docks, Preston, PR2 2HW. The services required are the collection, transportation, weighing, and recycling of mixed inert waste from Preston Transfer Station, Wallend Road, Preston Docks, Preston, PR2 2HW. The mixed inert waste will be collected and transported by the provider using a suitable bulk haulage vehicle, which shall have a minimum mixed inert waste load carrying capacity of not less than 14 (fourteen) tonnes; and a maximum loading height of not more than 4.8 metres.
