Description
Derbyshire County Council (DCC) intends to commission domestic abuse support services including a helpline, IDVA's (Independent Domestic Violence Advisors) and community / accommodation support for victims and survivors of all genders across assessed levels of risk (standard, medium and high). It is anticipated that tenders for this service would be sought in July 2026, to enable a new contract to begin on 01 April 2027. DCC is keen to ensure services deliver a local, community-based offer which is accessible to all and builds strong links with local people and partners. As such, we are keen to hear potential providers, stakeholder's and partners views on the potential commissioning options outlined in the attached documents. It is anticipated that an in-person market engagement event will be held in April 2026. DCC will be open to bids from consortia with a lead provider or sole providers who can demonstrate how they would deliver the contract across the county footprint (excluding Derby City).
