Description
A referral management service for managing ADHD referrals for NHS Staffordshire and Stoke, processing about 150 applications monthly. It includes clinical reviews, declining non-qualifying applications, and referring qualifying requests to pre-contracted providers for further assessment and treatment. A provider has been identified who covers the geographical area of the ICB. This is a fixed cost contract. The contract is below threshold and this transparency notice is signalling our intention to direct award a contract to this provider for 12 months. This Direct Award is justified under Special Cases (section 41) Schedule 5 :Prototypes and development. The justification for this direct award is to procure a new service that has been designed and developed at the request of the contracting authority. The contracting authority are procuring a solution to manage ADHD referrals based on pre-determined thresholds for clinical appropriateness, a direct award will enable data to be shared securely between different agencies.
